“Doing” because he was intentional in sharing his life with others. He didn’t wait for them to come to him, he went out of his way to the Samaritan woman. He left one city and went to another and another talking with crowds of people. He ate in the homes of publicans and sinners. He went to the home of Mary and Martha and taught women who before his time had never been included in a teaching setting. He intentionally went off by himself to minister to His father in prayer and prepare to share his life again with theirs.
“Life Together” speaks of sharing everyday life with others. Jesus went fishing and boating with the disciples. He walked to Emmaus with two other men and shared a meal with them. He fed the hungry, cared for the sick, He celebrated the Jewish holidays with his disciples and went to the
“With Jesus” at the center or our lives it’s not difficult to include him in this equation. He influences everything about our lives and it comes out while working and playing. The things we’ve learned and experienced we share with others as we intentionally include them in our lives.
I’d love to hear what you are doing or how you are sharing your life with others. You and your husband may be having couples over for fellowship or games. You may go golfing together. You may invite friends over to play Wii. You may scrapbook with neighbors. You may visit the nursing home on regular basis. You may be making friends with others while your children play in sports. There’s a myriad of ways to share the life of Christ within us. What are you doing?

Recently, the Lord has blessed me to be in the position to help those less fortunate than myself. I believe the Lord sent me to Dover in order to position me in my previous job, where I taught job seeking skills to welfare receipients - mostly single mothers. I was able to share Jesus with them, share my testimony which many of them could relate, and provide them hope for a bright future.
Now, I work with those with mental health disabilities who want to work. I talk with them openly about Jesus and where their spiritual life stands, as well as their employment goals. Somehow, Jesus always works His way into the conversation. Even when I don't know what to say, Jesus does and the Holy Spirit gives me the right words to say. Many are so ashamed, they do not feel they can approach the Holy One. I'm there, through God's divine timing and positioning, to tell them, they can still approach Jesus. That He stands at the door and even KNOCKS!! If only they would open the door (their heart and life), He will come into our hearts and rule our life. He wants to be a part of your life; through the big, bad ugly part as well as the good parts. Even the little small parts - The Lord Jesus and the Lord God the Father and Holy Spirit, want to be there to guide you in all the paths you should go.
Its just so awesome how God's wonderful hand had favor over me to get this job. Although the company wanted someone with a master's degree, they chose me because of my experience. I put my resume forth in faith; knowing that I didn't meet the qualificcations they were seeking. This has also happened before - in my previous job. The job description called for someone with a bachelors degree. I do not have one, but applied anyway through faith-knowing I had something to give. My old boss had told me that it was something about my 'spirit', my 'energy', and my way I can connect with people that won me the position. Only God can do that. I couldn't have done it without God's divine plan and me actually accepting His divine assignment.
